We are also interested in making the best of opportunities to, not only provide design services, but also manufacturing services that we could provide with partners." He said that in some instances Satyam has done this through suppliers based in China. Doing it consistently within India is not too far away, according to him. Satyam has about 3,000 engineers focused on this space. Industry watchers also say that participating in such events would also help IT firms like Satyam build a certain recall with today's students who could potentially become employees later.
