Alliances & Joint Ventures Airco-Fin Holding signs pact with Indian venture Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Sept. 12 Airco-Fin Holding, Holland has signed the first production contract with Airco-Fin Tubes India Pvt Ltd, its Hyderabad-based joint venture set up with the Nu-Way Group of India. As per the contract, Airco-Fin Tubes India would supply about 1,000 finned tubes in the next 75 days, according to Mr Prasad Emandi, Managing Director of the joint venture. The company has a production facility at the Export Promotion Industrial Zone on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Airco-Fin has also signed an agreement with the Andhra Pradesh Government for exporting at least 33 per cent of its production, as per the requirements of being situated in the Export Zone, Mr Prasad Emandi told Business Line here on Monday. The joint venture, headquartered in Hyderabad, is also planning to bring in more finning machines to make all types of tubes in the near future at the facility. At present it is involved in the manufacture of high fin tubes with aluminium and copper finning over any material base tube. These tubes find application in aircooled heat exchangers. Airco-Fin Holding is a world leader in the manufacture and supply of finned tubes, retubing, tube bundles to major refineries and petrochemical industries across the world.
