The futility of post-training evaluation sessions
Post-training evaluation, typically at the end of the class-room session, is like choosing to inspect products only at the factory gate before being shipped to customers — too little and too late. If you want a return on your training investmen t you need to redefine the entire approach to training. This is as relevant to long-term strategic learning and development initiatives as it is to simple knowledge and skill-building programmes.
