Chennai, Sept 8

Business services provider e4e Inc announced today that it would open a new centre in Chennai at an investment of $4 million (Rs 18.4 crore) at the special economic zone near Pallikaranai.

Mr K.B. Chandrasekhar, Chairman, said that the company grew at 50 per cent last fiscal in terms of revenue and the growing business made the facility a necessity.

The Chennai centre would principally be for high-end non-voice business processes, which would provide 60 per cent additional revenue. The company expects it to generate revenue of $8 million (Rs 36.8 crore) a year.
