Former Indian cricket captain K. Srikkanth has launched www.krishcricket.com, a portal that offers various cricket-related entertainment options including online and mobile phone games.

The Web site will track and keep a record of each user's scores, display a list of the leading performers, as well as offer `promotional points' which can be redeemed against the membership fees, or for purchase of CDs. Some of the CD packs include `Bat Like A Master', which has Srikkanth giving lessons on different batting techniques, and `World Cup '83' featuring the semi-final and final matches and interviews with five of the players. Also, moments from the final match are available as video clips for downloading onto mobile phones. Some of the other contents include articles by Srikkanth and other writers, trivia, quotes and a photo gallery.

The Web site will also feature live ball-by-ball audio commentary on match days with responses from Srikkanth.
