3i InfoTech buys G4 Software Technologies

3i InfoTech on Tuesday said it has acquired a US-based company, G4 Software Technologies in an all-cash deal for Rs 4.2 crore. G4 is a niche company with 50 employee and Rs 8.4 crore in revenues. "We have acquired the company at 0.5 times its revenues," said Mr Amar Chintopanth, Chief Financial Officer, 3i Infotech. G4 provides business process integration services, payment services and back-office exception processing solutions, which are used in various processes including mutual fund accounting and reconciliations, claims processing and under-writing for insurance companies. Its payments services relates to financial network solutions for SWIFT, enterprise payments solutions, real time gross settlement solutions , migrating legacy payment solutions such as MERVA from a mainframe environment, Single European Payments Architecture etc.
