FIEO meet on trade in services from Oct 4

Hyderabad, Sept. 1

The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) is organising a three-day International Congress and Exposition on Trade in Services in New Delhi next month. The three-day `ServinXPO 2006' will begin on October 4. Mr A. Sakthivel, Chairman of FIEO (Southern Region), quoting WTO estimates, has said the international trade in services was $2.1 trillion, constituting about 21 per cent of global trade. The meet will facilitate interaction between industry leaders, Government representatives and academicians to discuss the huge business opportunities in services. The meet is supported by the Department of Commerce, UN Conference on Trade and Development and National Research Development Corporation.
