AP cos bag Greentech awards

Several AP companies, currently participating in a national environment management meet being held in Goa, have bagged awards for their contributions in the field, according to a press release issued by the Greentech Foundation, a New Delhi-based NGO, organising the meet in Goa. ITC, Anaparthi (East Godavari district); ITC-ILTD unit at Chirala in Prakasam district; ONGC, Rajahmundry asset; Hindustan Zinc Ltd (Vizag); Tecumseh Products India Private Ltd (Hyderabad); ITC Bhadrachalam; and the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) received the awards from the Goa Governor, Mr S.C. Jameer, at the inaugural session on Thursday. The seminar will conclude on Saturday. Mr G. Venkatarami Reddy, Vice-Chairman of the VUDA, participated in the meet. He also gave away the lifetime achievement award to Mr P.N. Ojah, Managing Director of Bihar Caustic & Chemicals. The three-day meet is being attended by 250 delegates from different parts of the country.
