PROMOTING NATURAL DRINK: A farmer inspecting his coconut farm near Kochi. The Coconut Development Board plans to open tender coconut parlours on National Highways to promote its consumption. Besides, the board will also promote value-added products made from coconut. This is expected to be a boom to the coconut farmers, who have been affected by lower prices during the last few years.
