Off-shore Development Infotech arm to expand Puerto Rico centre Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Aug. 25 Infotech Enterprises Ltd has informed BSE that Infotech Aerospace Services, a joint venture between the company and Pratt & Whitney, has opened a second facility in north-western Puerto Rico where it plans to hire 100 new employees. Ms Rita Peralta, President and General Manager of Infotech Aerospace, in a statement said, "The 22,000 sq ft facility in Isabela will help Infotech Aerospace meet demand for its engineering work and for United Technologies. This will see an investment $7.3 million in Infotech Aerospace to create the new jobs, for mainly engineers and draftsmen, which will increase the work force of Infotech Aerospace to 500." The company will recruit Puerto Ricans for the positions, allowing the "intellectual talent to remain in the island, contributing to economic development."
ED RESIGNS
In another development, Infotech Enterprises Ltd, has announced that Mr Sudhir Sethi has resigned from the company as a President and Executive Director to pursue other opportunities in a private equity firm. He was relieved from his responsibilities at the close of business hours on August 24.
