U21Global, an online graduate school, would be tying up shortly with the Indian Institute of Management - Bangalore (IIMB) to offer an online certificate management-related course, according to Mr Girish Rangan - Country Manager, India, U21Global.

Speaking to the press to announce the graduation of the first batch of 30 executives from the joint Executive Postgraduate Diploma courses offered by the Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), he said that the admission process for the course offered with IIMB has begun.

The online programme would be targeted at employees of corporates who would not be otherwise able to attend classes.

Fr P. Christie, Director, LIBA, said that the graduating batch of the course offered with LIBA consists entirely of employees from corporates such as Tata Motors and Wipro. The level of experience of the students varies between one year and seven years.

He explained that the course is a combination of online and face-to-face education, and that the company would follow this model in the years to come.

The course would expect an intake of between 60 and 100 students for the following year, he said. The two courses on offer are the Executive Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management and the Executive Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. The course fees are Rs 39,000 per annum.
