Sundaram Info opens ERP centre

Chennai , Aug. 18

Sundaram Infotech Solutions (SIS), the IT arm of Sundaram Finance Ltd, has launched an ERP learning centre, the `Axapta Academy of Excellence' to train both functional and technical professionals at its Chennai facility on Thursday.

Mr Srinivas Acharya, Joint Managing Director, Sundaram Finance Ltd and Chief Executive Officer, SIS, was quoted in a release as saying that the academy would look to impart specialised functional and technical training on Axapta ERP, a solution by Microsoft India that enables the user to address the total integrated information needs of an enterprise.

It expects the professionals rolled out of the academy to be positioned onsite in overseas markets such as the US and Europe. Some of the features of the training include over 120 hours of technical training and 160 hours of functional training.
