Hyderabad , July 29

ICSA India Ltd, a Hyderabad based products and services company, has informed the BSE that the company has secured two patents (provisional) for its innovative products from the Controller of Patents. The patents are for Intelligent Cathodic Protection (I CAP) System and Intelligent Automatic Meter Reading System (IAMR).

According to the company, the ICAP automatically acquires data from various test lead points, transformer rectifier units and other stations if any, spread over along the pipeline, on-line.

It processes the data online and forecasts in real time issues such as the rate of corrosion, abnormalities due to pilferages and any deviation from statutory requirements. It has in-built integrated data transmission facilities to support various modes of transmissions and has applications in oil and gas and water resources management.

The IAMR collects the data at a remote central location from energy meters and other devices located at consumer premises through wire and wireless. It helps manage voltage related issues, helping in energy audit useful for distribution companies and commercial consumers.
