KS Oils Q1 net up 142 pc

KS Oils Ltd, an integrated edible oil manufacturing company, has registered 142 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 8.51 crore for the quarter ended June 2006, from Rs 3.51 crore for the corresponding previous period. Total income stood at Rs 216.48 crore, a 53 per cent increase from Rs 141.21 crore earlier. The company has secured ISO 9001:2000 certification for quality management systems. It has expanded its retail base by adding six new market distributions hubs in Madhya Pradesh and has plans to open 17 such hubs in Chhatisgarh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Central and North-Eastern parts of the country.
