Position2 acquires Webshastra

Bangalore, July 17

Position2 has announced the all-stock acquisition of Webshastra, a provider of Internet marketing services in India. "The acquisition by Position2 further highlights Webshastra's strong technical and Internet marketing capabilities and foundations,'' said Mr Vinod Nambiar, Co-founder, Webshastra. The company plans to ramp up from 35 globally to 300 in three years time and has also lined up an investment of $5 million for the next three years.
