The Chancellor of Nalsar (National Academy of Legal Studies and Research) University of Law, and the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh, Mr Justice G. S. Singhvi, will be conferring the Degree of Doctor of Laws (LL.D) Honoris Causa on Mr. Soli J Sorabjee, former Attorney General of India. Mr Sorabjee will receive the honour in presence of the Chief Justice of India, Mr Justice Y.K. Sabharwal, who will address the Fourth Annual Convocation on July 15, at Justice City campus on the outskirts of Hyderabad. In a press release, Professor Ranbir Singh, Vice-Chancellor, said there would be two important additions to the sprawling campus of Nalsar on the occasion. A video conferencing facility is being inaugurated at MK Nambiar SAARC Law Centre (Nalsar campus), which came up with the donation of the Supreme Court senior Advocate, Mr K. K. Venugopal.
