Overseas Investments States - Maharashtra Belgium co Reynaers to set up sales operations in Pune Sudha Menon
Pune , July 12 India's realty boom is attracting large players in related businesses to eye the evolving market, with the latest being Reynaers Aluminium, one of Europe's large suppliers of high-quality aluminium building solutions, now setting up its sales operations in Pune. The Belgium-based aluminium building systems company is also firming up plans to set up a design centre in Pune where it will introduce its aluminium façade and fenestration systems to Indian architects and construction companies and the latest technologies in the field, Mr Badal Shah, Country Manager, told Business Line. The company, which has its footprints across 25 countries, specialises in the development and marketing of aluminium systems for outside constructions such as windows, doors, sliding systems, curtain walls and conservatories. "Our range of unitised and structurally glazed curtain wall systems offer the right answers to investors and architects looking for aesthetic and high-performance façade solutions", Mr Frank Goudman, Export Manager of Reynaers Aluminum, said "Over the next two months, we will set up a design centre and put a team of engineers and project managers who will liase with clients to give them complete solutions for their construction requirements," Mr Shah said adding that the level of investments in the India project is still being firmed up. The company is already in advanced stage of discussions with a number of IT parks, commercial complexes and five-star hotels in Pune and Chennai for implementing their solutions, he said. "We will initially focus on the Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Delhi markets,'' he added.
