Lucas-TVS wins Japanese award

Chennai, July 7

Lucas-TVS has bagged the Japanese Award, "JIT Grand prix" from the JIT Management Laboratory Co Ltd, as the No.1 Company for the work done during the year 2005-06 on JIT Methodology among other Companies. The award was handed over to Dr N. Ravichandran, President (Operations), at the 18th Convention of JIT, organised by the JIT Management Laboratory, Tokyo, today. "Lucas-TVS is the first company outside Japan to receive this award twice," a press release from the company said.
