SBI: Banking on subsidiaries

State Bank of India, which was in the news on Tuesday for issuing dividend, is also being talked of as being an attractive buy once its subsidiaries go to the market to raise money.

Analysts are of the view that there will be value unlocking for SBI at that juncture and it is a good buy at these valuations. The stock closed at Rs 755.25, up 1.74 per cent, on the BSE.
