Hyundai sales up 56% in June

New Delhi, July 3

Hyundai Motor India (HMI) on Monday reported a 56.2 per cent jump in its domestic market sales in June, at 17,032 units. Cumulative sales during the month were 27,251 units, an overall growth of 39.6 per cent over June 2005, the company said in a statement.

Sales in the overseas market in June stood at 10,219 units, a growth of 18.6 per cent over the previous year.

Hyundai Motor India sold 1,47,636 vehicles in the first six months of the year 2006, achieving a growth of 20 per cent over the same period in 2005, the company said.
