Centurion Bank plans more branches

Mumbai, July 3

Centurion Bank of Punjab plans to open eight new branches which would offer wealth management products, like life and general insurance, through its partners and select mutual funds, apart from a range of services. The branches would be set up at New Delhi, Mumbai, Solan (Himachal Pradesh) and Pune. With this, Centurion Bank of Punjab will have 249 branches across the country. "By opening these new branches, the bank plans to selectively augment its retail and SME reach and infrastructure across pivotal centres such as Maharashtra, New Delhi and Himachal Pradesh," Mr Shailendra Bhandari, Managing Director and CEO, Centurion Bank of Punjab, said in a release here.
