Mangalore , June 27

Hutch launched `Fun cards' - scratch cards that offer predefined content in a tangible form - in Mangalore on Tuesday.

Launching the card, Mr Samuel Selvakumar, Operations Director, Hutch, said that this is the first ever innovation in the cellular service industry that offers value-added service in a tangible form.

Hutch customers can now purchase their favourite caller tunes and ring tones off the shelf from the nearest retailer.

"These cards have been conceptualised to provide Hutch customers the ease of choosing what they like after seeing what is available, like any other product available in the retail space," he said.

`Fun cards' are preloaded with specific content so that the customer can choose from the many options he has. Content covers categories such as Bollywood, international, classical, devotional and regional hits.

These `Fun cards' are available in nearly 1,000 retail outlets in Mangalore region. Hutch, which has presence in 307 towns in Karnataka, has 1.2 million subscribers in the State, he added.
