Express carrier and packaging delivery company UPS has enhanced its time-definite delivery service to the exporters based in Coimbatore and Tirupur regions.

The company has now introduced 48 hours direct delivery service of shipment to Europe and the US from Coimbatore and Tirupur, thereby halving the current transit time, according to a communication from the company.

The UPS' customers from Coimbatore and Tirupur who send shipments to the US and Europe would benefit immensely by the 48-hour guaranteed delivery. With the new faster time-in-transit service, UPS is well positioned to help its customers, particularly the small and medium enterprises in Coimbatore region, to become competitive, the Managing Director of UPS Jetair Express Pvt Ltd, Mr Thomas Mathew, said.
