RBD palmolein rules weak

Mumbai , June 20

RBD palmolein prices ruled weak on the local edible oil market on Tuesday on stray buying. Other edible oils remained steady. Imported crude soya oil was steady at Rs 371 per 10 kg. RBD palmolein was down Re 1 at Rs 396 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was up Re 1 at Rs 324 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was steady at Rs 485 per 10 kg. Sunflower oil expeller was steady at Rs 400 per 10 kg.

In futures segment, castor seed August contracts opened steady at Rs 1,496 per quintal, unchanged over previous day.

Sugar dips

Sugar spot prices weakened further on the wholesale market on Tuesday on continued offerings supported by stray buying. Small grade (S-30) was down Rs 5 at Rs 1,865-1,905 per quintal over previous day while medium grade (M-30) was down Rs 5 at Rs 1,890-1,955 per quintal over previous close.
