Standards & Benchmarks TVS & Sons bags ISO 14001:2004 certificate Our Bureau
Madurai , June 19 Sundaram Iyengar & Sons Ltd(TVS & Sons Ltd), the parent company of TVS Group, has been certified as ISO 14001:2004 by TUV SUD Management Services Gmph, for implementing the Environment Management System in sales and service of automotive vehicles in all its outlets across the State. The company obtained ISO 9001 award in 2005. "Improving the quality of life has always been a fulfilling objective, be it the customers workers and the society. The company would continue to move in that direction. What has been the culture earlier has got an official endorsement. This is only a first step and not the end of the journey. The company would continue to follow the best practices proactively for the betterment of all the stakeholders involved," said Mr R. Dinesh, Executive Director, TVS & Sons Ltd, while receiving the certificate from the Chief Operating Officer, Ashok Leyland Ltd, Mr Vinod Dasari, in a function held in the city on Monday. Mr L. Ramalingam, General Manager, TUV SUD South Asia and Mr B.G. Menon, Executive Director, ACME India Quality Management Service, consultant to TVS & Sons Ltd in obtaining the certificate were present on the occasion.
