Divi's Labs net up, to pay 100 pc

Divi's Laboratories Ltd, the Hyderabad-based active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates company, has achieved a significant growth in turnover and net profit for fiscal ended March 2006. The board meeting on Saturday recommended a dividend of 100 per cent on equity shares of Rs 10 each for the year. For the fourth quarter under review, the company posted a turnover of Rs 129.67 crore against Rs 115.12 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal and a net profit of Rs 22.89 crore (Rs 22.96 crore). For the full year, it posted a turnover of Rs 391.73 crore (Rs 364.52 crore) and a net profit of Rs 70.47 crore (Rs 66.03 crore), yielding an EPS of Rs 54.98 (Rs 51.51) on an equity of Rs 12.81 crore.
