VAT panel meet

The State Finance Ministers are to meet here on June 15 under the aegis of the Empowered Committee of State Finance Ministers on VAT to review the implementation of the new tax system. At this meeting, the VAT implementing States are expected to come up with an "authoritative" list spelling out the deviations in the rates adopted by them compared to those decided by the committee.
