Shipping States - Kerala Team from Port of Venice visiting Kochi Our Bureau
Kochi , June 2 A delegation from the Port of Venice is visiting Kochi during June 3-6. The delegation, consisting of five members, will be led by Count Antonio Revedin, Marketing Director, APV International Spa, a company for development of port infrastructure. The other members are Dr Andrea Cosentino, Vice-President, Venice Forwarding and Shipping Agents Association, Dr Mautizio Miranda, President, Indo-Italian Institute for Trade and Technology of Rome, Dr Tommaso Riccoboni, Chairman, Teleporto Adritico, a company for informatics technology specialising in ports communication and security and Dr Carlo Trevisan, Director of the company. The delegation, during its stay in Kochi, proposes to meet the Chairman and officials of the Cochin Port Trust. It will also have discussions on issues of mutual interest with the President and members of the Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday. It has expressed interest in meeting business associates connected with shipping, IT and infrastructure.
