Pune , June 1

Safety-Plast-Print 2007, a three-day expo, is to be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from February 22, 2007.

The expo is being organised by Greentech Trade Fairs and supported by National Institute of Safety & Health (NIOSH), Malaysia; Institution of Fire Engineers; All-India Rubber Industries Research Association, and All-India Food Processors Association.

Mr Kamaleshwar Sharan, President of Greentech, a New Delhi-based company, said that the exhibition would provide a glimpse of the latest developments in technology and innovation.

He added that some 600 exhibitors, both domestic and international, are expected to take part in the exhibition.

The Indian fire protection industry is worth Rs 1,500 crore annually and is expected to go up five times within a decade.
