Pentair plans R&D unit in India

New Delhi, May 31

Pentair Water India (PWI) plans to have a research and development centre in India for the US based parent Pentair Group. "We plan to have 150 engineers at our research and development centre in Noida by the year end," said Mr Gautam Khanna, Chief Executive Officer, PWI. The company also plans to introduce its industrial systems for water treatment in big plants shortly. It targets sales of $38 million for the current fiscal. Its sales for the last fiscal stood at $28 million that included exports out of its Goa manufacturing facility.
