Electrosteel up on overseas issue

The Electrosteel Castings scrip, which rose 4 per cent to close at Rs 406 on the NSE, has gained in the wake of talk that the company has worked out an overseas issue. The stock, which is still some way off its 52-week peak of Rs 490, is however low on volumes. On Wednesday, less than 7,000 shares were traded, which, according to investment circles, is indicative of relatively poor trading interest.
