Railways RDSO to use UGS Corp products Our Bureau
Banglaore , May 15 UGS Corp has announced that two of its products, NX Software and NX Nastran, have been selected by the Research Designs & Standards Organisation (RDSO), Lucknow, the Research and Design Centre of the Ministry of Railways. UGS is an engineering services company with a revenue of $1 billion last year. The company offers computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD-CAM) solutions as well as product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions. "RDSO understands the value and importance of accelerated digital product development to address the requirements of its production units. RDSO relied on NX's ease of use to help get the job done fast and to help address most complex and challenging designs. ," said RDSO's project in charge, in a release issued by the company.
