Satyam hires senior pro for Continental Europe

Recognising the potential Continental Europe holds for IT business and to enhance the footprint in the region, Satyam Computer Services Ltd has announced the appointment of Dr Peter M. Heij as the Head and Senior Vice President of Continental Europe.

Dr Heij will add value to Satyam's relationship with its customers in Continental Europe.

Dr Heij will leverage his experience and work towards brand building and market penetration to boost Satyam's presence in Continental Europe. Operating out of the Netherlands, Dr Heij will work with Dr Keshab Panda, Head of Satyam Europe Operations.

Dr Heij joins Satyam from Logica CMG, Germany, where he was the Managing Director for the Managed Services business and successfully acquired and led large outsourcing deals for the company.

This move will effectively mean that the UK and Continental Europe will become distinct business zones.
