Edible oils stable

All major edible oil prices remained steady on the local edible oil market on Monday on scattered buying. RBD palmolein was up Re 1 at Rs 393 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was steady at Rs 465 per 10 kg. Imported refined soya oil was steady at Rs 393 per 10 kg. Crude soya oil was up Rs 2 at Rs 370 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was steady at Rs 326 per 10 kg.

In futures segment, castor seed June contracts ended lower at Rs 1,528 per quintal, down by Rs 15 over previous day.

Sugar firm

Small grade (S-30) was up Rs 5 at Rs 1,940/1,980 per quintal over previous day. Medium grade (M-30) was steady at Rs 1,972/2,005 per quintal over previous close.
