India Insure is `composite' broker

Our Bureau

Mumbai , May 4

India Insure Risk Management Services has been upgraded from the category of `direct' broker to `composite' broker by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) recently. As a composite broker, India Insure can offer reinsurance and corporate broking services to its clients.

India Insure has more than 250 corporate clients.

"India Insure proposes to approach the international market for innovative product ideas - a need felt by corporates in India. We will then adapt them for the Indian market and launch them with the help of domestic insurers," said a release from the company.
