Bank union plans strike

Mumbai , May 4

The All India Central Bank Federation has decided to strike and hold demonstrations to protest against the management of the bank.

The charges levelled against the management include violation of settled policies in postings, placements and transfers, `unbearable' pressure on officers and `indiscriminate' disciplinary actions.

"The management is indulging in pressure tactics through disciplinary actions ,'' the union said in a release.
