Major edible oils prices moved up on the local edible oil market on Friday on continued buying interest amid scattered offerings. Castor oil weakened on some offerings amid poor buying interest. Castor seed June contracts ended lower on some fresh selling.

RBD palmolein was up Rs 4 at Rs 395 for 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was up Rs 2 at Rs 477. Imported refined soya oil was up Rs 6 at Rs 396. Imported crude soya oil was up a rupee at Rs 372.

Castor oil commercial grade was down a rupee at Rs 329 for 10 kg. ]

In the futures segment, castorseed June contracts settled lower by Rs 3 at Rs 1,571 a quintal.
