Mr S Sridhar has taken over as Chairman and Managing Director of National Housing Bank with effect from April 18.

Mr Sridhar has been the Executive Director of Exim Bank of India since May 2001. He started his career as a probationary officer with State Bank of India and joined Exim Bank after 12 years. He has also been associated with many national level committees and task forces contributing to the policies of the government and the Reserve Bank of India.
