. Groundnut oil declined on reports of increased inflows, while RBD palmolein was up mainly on some fresh buying interest. RBD palmolein was up Rs 3 at Rs 382 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was down Rs 2 at Rs 473 per 10 kg. Imported refined soya oil was steady at Rs 382 per 10 kg. Crude soya oil was down Re 1 at Rs 364 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was up Re 1 at Rs 328 per 10 kg.

In futures segment, castor seed June contracts were down Rs 7 to end at Rs 1,570 per quintal.

Sugar dips

Sugar spot prices subdued on the wholesale market on Friday. Small grade (S-30) was down Rs 16 at Rs 1,931/1,965 per quintal over previous day. Medium grade (M-30) was steady at Rs 1,980/2,031 per quintal.

Wheat recovers

New Delhi: Prices of wheat recovered in the wholesale grains market on Friday on revival of buying against tight arrival.

Wheat MP (Deshi) quoted higher at Rs 1,200-1,325, while wheat dara (for mills) traded up at Rs 815-817 a quintal respectively on fresh buying. Maida also gained Rs 20 at Rs 950-960 per kg.
