New Products & Services Godrej unveils new range of refrigerators Our Bureau

Mumbai, April 19 Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd has introduced the ZOP (zinc oxide protection) technology for its range of refrigerators. At a press conference, Mr George Menezes, Chief Operating Officer (Appliance Division) Godrej & Boyce, said: "With this new technology we will be charging a 3-5 per cent premium on the existing prices of our refrigerators." RS 20-CR ADSPEND Unleashing a new campaign to highlight the benefits of its new technology, the appliance major has earmarked an ad budget of Rs 20 crore for the purpose. Godrej & Boyce currently has a 15 per cent share in the refrigerators category. "We expect our share to go up by 5 per cent after the introduction of the ZOP technology,'' added Mr Menezes.
