Stir at Suryalakshmi denim unit

Hyderabad, April 17

Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills Ltd has informed the stock exchanges that the workers of its denim division, located at Ramtek, have resorted to an illegal strike from April 13 demanding higher wages. Efforts are being made to negotiate with the workers and settle the matter at the earliest, the company said.
