Oilseeds & Edible Oil Groundnut oil declines Our Bureau
Mumbai , April 17 RBD palmolein and groundnut oil declined on the local edible oil market on Monday on some offerings. RBD palmolein was down Re 1 at Rs 382 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was down Re 1 at Rs 479 per 10 kg. Soya oil refined imported was steady at Rs 383 per 10 kg. Soya oil crude oil imported was steady at Rs 365 per 10 kg. Sunflower oil expeller was down Rs 3 at Rs 402 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was steady at Rs 325 per 10 kg. In futures segment, castor seed June contracts were Rs 11 lower at Rs 1,551 per quintal on increased offerings. Sugar firm Sugar spot prices firmed up further at the Vashi wholesale market on Monday on continued buying from retailers amid shortage of ready stock on reports that Vashi traders would go on an indefinite strike from April 19 to protest VAT in the state. Small grade (S-30) was up Rs 10 at Rs 1,940/2,000 per quintal over previous day. Medium grade (M-30) was up a rupee at Rs 1,970/2,041 per quintal over previous close.
