Paramount Air to expand fleet

Hyderabad, April 13

Paramount Airways, the Chennai-based airline promoted by the Paramount textile group, is planning to have a fleet of 20 aircraft, mostly the Brazilian Embraer 170/190 series, by the end of 2008. The airline will launch the Chennai-Hyderabad and Koch-Hyderabad services, beginning April 19. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Mr Ajay Grover, Head (Marketing and Sales), said the airline was planning to offer special packages to corporates.
