FIRST CONSIGNMENT: Mangoes have begun to arrive in the market despite fears of late arrival this season. First to reach the market has been the juicy "China rasalu" variety from Vijayawada. The variety is sold in retail for about Rs 50 a dozen. Traders, however, say arrivals are expected to flood the market only towards May-end.
