New Projects States - Andhra Pradesh Intel coming to Hyderabad? Our Bureau
According to Government sources, an Intel official recently met the State Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, and hinted at the possibility of investing in the NTSI equity. Promoted by Dr P. June Min of Intellect Inc., NTSI has indicated at investing about $600 million in Fab unit near the Shamshabad Hyderabad International Airport. The State Government earlier this year signed up with SemIndia for a $3-billion multi-stage Fab facility, where it was indicated that AMD would possibly take part in the company equity. Initially, AMD would locate a test facility here, the promoter of SemIndia, Dr Vinod Agarwal, had indicated.
