IAE wins $ 500-m Air Deccan order

New Delhi, March 31

IAE International Aero Engines has announced that the low-cost airline, Air Deccan, had backed its fleet expansion of 30 V2500-powered aircraft with a V2500SelectSM services agreement. The agreement will be extended to cover Air Deccan's existing fleet and an earlier, firm order of 30 Airbus A320 family aircraft. The latest engine order is valued at more than $500 million and brings the total firm V2500-powered A320 family aircraft on order to 62, the company has said in a statement.
