MR THOMAS MATHEW

Mumbai, March 25

Mr Thomas Mathew, Zonal Manager (Western), Life Insurance Corporation of India, has taken over as Managing Director of the Corporation. Mr Mathew will assume the post left vacant by Mr K Sridhar who had retired, as Managing Director on January 31. Earlier Mr Mathew held various posts including Chief of Marketing and International Operations, Senior Divisional Manager-in-Charge of three major divisions and also Divisional Manager (Personnel and Industrial Relations). He was also a Director on the board of Corporation Bank and is currently on the board of LMW, said a release from LIC.
