Security audit for hacked Govt portal

The Andhra Pradesh Government is set to initiate another round of security audit to, following the recent hacking incident involving a Turkish cyber criminal EjDar.

The Government, while admitting that the site was hacked on Sunday, said that there was no financial loss. It has filed a case with the Cyber Crimes Department.

Out of various sections in the AP Online homepage, the hacker could only get into one part of "news" section and could only manage to change the news links available in the section.

According to the Government, AP Online has been vigilant to such intrusions and has taken all necessary security measures to prevent them.
