Chennai , March 16

Financial Software & Systems (P) Ltd (FSS), the Chennai-based electronic payment system solutions and service provider, is building a techno park at Siruseri on the Old Mahabalipuram Road, according to a press release from the company.

Mr Nagaraj Mylandla, Managing Director, FSS, said the company plans to invest Rs 55 crore in the next 24 to 30 months in the facility. It will fund the project from internal accruals and bank loans.

According to the press release, work on the project started on Thursday with a ground breaking ceremony. In the first phase, costing about Rs 15 crore, one lakh sq ft will come up to accommodate 1,000 personnel, and will be expanded to cover over three-lakh sq ft in subsequent phases.

The facility is being developed as an end-to-end campus for FSS software development and payment processing services for domestic and international clients. It will include space for a data centre that will house systems for transaction processing, switching and managed services.

The company now has a centre at Tidel IT Park, Chennai, and another in Mumbai with a combined capacity to house 750 personnel, the release said.
