J. Rambabu made APSFC Chairman

The Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation (APSFC) has a new Chairman in Mr J. Rambabu, a retired IAS officer. He succeeds Mr M. Gopalakrishna, who served for four years. Mr Rambabu took charge on Wednesday. The Small Industries Development Bank of India, in consultation with the Andhra Pradesh Government, nominated Mr Rambabu as Chairman of the APSFC Board for a period of two years, from March 10, 2006, according to a press release from the Corporation. Mr Rambabu's last posting in AP was Special Chief Secretary, Transport, Roads and Buildings Department. After superannuation, the State Government assigned him the task of Pay Revision of Government Employees (Pay Revision Commissioner).
